The Apostle Paul wrote, “For Christ’s love compels us….” (2 Corinthians 5:14) The word “compels” means to literally, “leaves me no choice.” Paul is saying, “I have no choice but to respond to the love of Christ with my whole being – to say thank you, thank you, thank you!”
When we serve Christ, when we share God’s love with others, when we come to church each and every week to worship Him, we don’t do it out of obligation or begrudgingly. We do it with thankful hearts because we really have no choice. It’s how we say thank you!
I am thankful for what God has done and I am thankful for what God is doing through you, the Hillndale congregation. (at the time of writing this article) we are just a week away from combining our 1st and 2nd services together. I am incredibly excited with the potential of how God will move in our worship services. He deserves our unified and joyful expressions of worship as one body we sing His praises. Let your joy be exciting and contagious as we worship together each and every week. May God fill this place with you, your family, & your friends and neighbors!!
Looking forward to worshipping with all of you!
